What's New?Grand Hampton Introduces New Models During A Grand Opening Event The Grand Opening of the builder models at Outpost Point – the final neighborhood to open at LandMar’s Grand Hampton community in New Tampa – is scheduled for February 16th and 17th. “Our builders are bringing forward exciting new home plans with beautiful interior design to Grand Hampton and Outpost Point,’’ says Maura Lear, Grand Hampton marketing coordinator. “We are recognizing their efforts with a celebration centered on great decorating. Visitors will see two beautiful new model homes plus have the chance to win and receive a variety of design-themed items.’’ People visiting during the Grand Opening weekend who contract to purchase a new home in Outpost Point through April 17th will receive a $10,000 decorator allowance from either Taylor Woodrow Homes or David Weekley Homes. As part of the Grand Opening celebration, LandMar will also offer visitors a chance to win a $500 gift card to Pottery Barn when they register at the Information Center. Guests can enjoy gourmet coffee and pick up a tour map and registration card in order to be qualified for the drawing. Builders will also have refreshments in the model homes. And as an added bonus, those who pre-register to attend the weekend event may download a certificate for a free subscription to Southern Living, Martha Stewart Living or House Beautiful magazines which can be redeemed during the grand opening weekend. Pre-registration is available at the www.grandhampton.com website prior to the event. “Taylor Woodrow and David Weekley are offering two dozen floor plans for homes built in Outpost Point, with a variety of elevations featuring front porches and granny flats over garages, great for visitors, in-laws or children home from college,” says Jim Doyle, vice president of marketing for LandMar. Homebuyers choosing the larger 70-foot wide homesites have the flexibility to choose from all available floor plans and use either builder. Homes built on 50-foot wide sites are priced starting in the high $200,000’s, while homes built on the larger 70-foot homesites are priced from the low $400,000’s. Taylor Woodrow is offering buyers an extensive choice of elevations for both the larger homesites and for the 50-foot lots. The larger homes will range in size from 2,616 to 3,704 square feet with up to four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a family room or den and three-car garage. Homes on Taylor Woodrow’s smaller homesites range in size from 1,943 to 3,203 square feet with one or two stories, up to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two or three-car garages. David Weekley’s selection includes elevations on both homesite sizes. Homes on the larger homesites will range in size from 2,695 to 3,586 square feet with up to four bedrooms and can accommodate up to three and a half bathrooms. Floor plans include a children’s retreat, a formal living or dining room and bonus room or study. Small homes range in size from 2,093 to 2,969 square feet, with up to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and various options including bonus rooms, family rooms, covered lanais and a garage retreat. “Floor plans have been designed for families at virtually every stage of life,’’ says Lear, “These homes will appeal to anyone looking for exceptional floor plans and architecture in an old Florida natural setting.” When complete, Grand Hampton is expected to have about 1,100 homes within the gated community. Nearly half the land in the community has been set aside for nature preserves and green space, according to Doyle. “The neighborhood of Outpost Point will feature a park with screened picnic shelter, barbeque and picnic areas as well as an outdoor fireplace with gathering area and a playground for children,” says Grady Miars, LandMar regional manager. “Outpost Point is located on the western edge of Grand Hampton, and borders Cypress Creek, a beautiful addition to the community,’’ says Miars. “This neighborhood is really unlike any other in New Tampa and the oak hammock and creek are the real amenities.” The neighborhood will include the community’s Canoe Outpost and mile-long private nature trail that will follow the banks of the creek. Additionally, Lakeside Park will abut the 16-acre Hampton Lake and currently has an observation dock with plans as well for a sand volleyball court, basketball court and picnic shelters with barbeque areas. The community’s Information Center is on County Line Road, just west of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in New Tampa. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5:30 p.m. For more information, call (813) 907-2045 or visit the web site at www.grandhampton.com.
